I was a draftsman for many years before becoming a programmer. I began my programming career by writing code to automate the CAD software that I was using.
I have been developing custom applications since 1991. I specialize in Microsoft Office development, mainly Access and Excel. I like to treat the entire Office Suite like a single application, drawing upon the strengths of each and creating a seamless integration. Do you have a lot of charts to put into PowerPoint? Let Excel house the data and build the charts, it can even build the PowerPoint slides for you!
I started doing consulting work in 1996 and worked in a variety of industries for companies throughout New Jersey and New York. I gave up consulting in 2006 after my contract with Bristol-Myers Squibb ended and now spend my days working for Vonage.
In early 2007 I moved to ASP.NET development work with SQL Server on the backend. I have created numerous applications including an invoice distribution and approval system, workshop registration and on-line surveys.
